Hello Waterloo Space Society,

We are very excited to welcome Dr. Andrew Rader to come and speak for the Waterloo Space Society!

Andrew is a spacecraft engineer and recent winner of Discovery Channel’s Canada’s Greatest Know It All challenge. Andrew has experience on half a dozen Canadian space missions and expertise on long duration human space flight with his research focused on micro-gravity.

Andrew earned a Ph.D. from MIT in human spaceflight and Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Carleton University. He has been an invited guest speaker at several scientific conferences, including a research summit at the Japanese Space Agency.

Andrew will be speaking about future prospects of space settlement and discussing the new developments in commercial space travel such as the Mars One project.
