I started a fundraising team this year for LIVE
STRONG and will be running the LIVE
STRONG Austin Half Marathon on February 20, 2011.
As a result, I am hosting a happy hour and fundraiser next Wednesday at Chupacabra to help reach my $500 fundraising goal!

Friends & Colleagues ~
As many of you are aware, Upbeat Marketing had the pleasure to work directly with Team LIVESTRONG in 2010. As part of our grass-roots marketing campaign to increase fundraising participation with Team LIVESTRONG for the LIVESTRONG Austin Marathon and Half Marathon, we thought it was only fair to sign up a fundraising team of our own -- Team Upbeat!
We have 8 team members in total, all responsible for fundraising $500 for LIVESTRONG and (of course) participating in either the full or half marathon on February 20, 2011. To help Team Upbeat reach our fundraising goal, we are partnering with Austin Elite Networking to host a Networking & Fundraiser Event next Wednesday, January 26.
The purpose of this event is to not only come together for a good cause by joining forces in the fight against cancer, but to create a FUN environment where we can network and make new contacts and connections in the New Year! |

Chupacabra Mexican Restaurant & Cantina is graciously opening their doors for Team Upbeat next Wednesday! In the spirit of fundraising, we are requesting a $20 donation at the door. All proceeds will go directly to LIVESTRONG.
