Notice Regarding Waterford North

[Waterford North]

Greetings,

It has come to our attention that someone within the community is leaving small items underneath or near the interior garage door; especially near the sensor.  These items will be removed.  This action creates a security threat to the community.  The action of leaving items, even small ones, in this location leaves everyone in the community vulnerable.

I think the janitorial service is doing this and for a good reason. They are probably putting the cup over the sensor to keep the garage door open while they are taking in and out the garbage and recycling bins. I'm sure they are present the whole time so it's not a security risk. Otherwise, they would have to keep opening the door. I have done this myself, but threw a jacket over the sensor. The only way this could be a security risk is if the cup is in front of the sensor and keeping the garage door open, or if someone else puts it over the sensor and leaves it there, but is anyone doing that? Maybe the board should ask the janitorial service to leave the cup somewhere not so near the sensor, so someone else does not get the idea of putting it over the sensor and leaving it there. I may be wrong, but I think this is what's happening.

I have spoken to Clean Sweep on other occasions.  They are an amazing company to work with.

They actually listen to your issues 

After three months they checked back in with me to see if everything was going okay 

They gladly do small tasks asked of them.

If residents of Waterford would step forward as many of them have,quitely, this type of thing would not happen.

Someone props open the garage door and forgets to remove it.  It's up to the next person to remove and despose of it.  It's human nature,  we all have to work together.
