The work of Igor Charcovsky

I have known Igor and followed his work since 1983.
The last time he had a visa to visit the states, he got into a bit of
trouble with immigration and the Boston DA's office. He was
"prosecuted" for sexual abuse by two women that he was allegedly
treating for infertility.

As a result of the court action his visa was revoked and he was sent
back to Russia. Because of that I don't think he will ever be allowed
here again. I do know that he travels with frequency to Italy and
Germany. He still resides in Moscow.

I have been trying to plan a trip to Moscow, but life keeps happening
and invitations to teach in Europe and Asia keep coming in. I almost
got there this coming fall, but need to be back in the states to plan
the Gentle Birth World Congress, which is happening in one year -
September 28, 29, 30 - 2007 here in Portland at the Oregon Convention
Center.
It would be awesome if Igor could travel here for that congress, but I
don't think it will be possible.

Have you heard of Basia Szpak ? do u know where i could contact her? She's been working watsu and  swimming babies she knew him as well...

 

I am sure you dont rememeber but we had met a few years ago for one of our workshops nad bok signing in Buffalo NY... I was still a student then... The student from Brazil with a son in documentary business...

 

I left hospital all together, disgusted, and trying to network with home birth MW here .. since i am so close to the beach hence my research and aspirations...
