Hey water lovers,

I hope everyone's semester is going along swimmingly.

 

Just a few announcements points for the upcoming week.

•  Next meeting
•  Tuesday - February 19th at 5:15pm in ELA room 313
• Our guest speaker is the Program Director of the San Marcos River Foundation - Dianne Wassenich 
• We will also discuss upcoming events and projects 

• Mapping Your Career: Finding a Great Geography Job
• Monday 2/25/2013
• Evans Liberal Art Building room 116 @ 5pm
• Great way to figure out what your next step is

• Bobcat Build
• Saturday March 23rd - 
• if you would like to participate please respond to this email or email me at nh1...@txstate.edu by FRIDAY at 5pm 
• Please include your t-shirt size

• Volunteer Opportunity 
• Cupid Shuffle 5k - presented by Campus Recreation - This Saturday February 16th 
• Where? -  Intramural fields by Specks Parking Garage (11000 Academy Drive San Marcos, Texas 78666)
• When? - Volunteers should get there at 7am it should only last till around 11am
• Why? - benefit the Seton Heart Institute of Austin and because the Outdoor Rec-Center has supported WaterAid in the past
• What? - Help direct runners around the course and general help
• This will count as a volunteer event/hours
