I built an app to stop spending hours looking for a film and ending up rewatching the same one over and over. The idea comes from a personal frustration. WatchOwl digs up films you've never seen, hidden gems, visual treasures…

Owly (the mascot) learns your tastes through a starter quiz, then refines your film profile as you use the app.

The app is vibe-coded: I learn as I build with AI, using an educational prompting approach. As a result, I know how my app is coded and I understand every part of it in detail. All the graphic assets are mine (I'm a graphic designer).

I'm now looking for a few testers so I can open the app to the public — and I believe in this project enough to have registered a business to run it.
