I downloaded from Git the .Zip file, unpacked it and opened a console in the watchmaker-master folder. I then issued the comand mvn compile and got back the following error:

[ERROR] Failed to execute goal on project watchmaker-framework: Could not resolve dependencies for project org.uncommons.watchmaker:watchmaker-framework:jar:0.7.2: Failure to find jfree:jfreechart:jar:1.0.8 in http://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2 was cached in the local repository, resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of central has elapsed or updates are forced -> [Help 1]

Is there something else I'm missing?

Thanks in advance for the help

Watchmaker is build using Apache Ant. Whatever POM files are present are
by and for people who wanted the binaries to be made available in a Maven
repository. If you want to build from source, just use the Ant
build.xml. Running "ant -p" will give you a list of availble targets.
There are some (possibly out-of-date) notes about building the project
from source here:

Thanks, using Ant I got it built without errors. I assumed because of hte pom.xml file that it was meant to be built using Maven.
