I thought I was cynical, but I was amazed to discover today that many
representatives have online forms you can use to request earmarks from
them:

http://www.house.gov/rehberg/approps.form.shtml

A good project would be: a) trying to get us an earmark, and b)
documenting the process.

That would be enlightening, at the very least. What kind of
organization is watchdog.net, officially, where's it based and who is
its House rep?

Legally, we're a Massachusetts nonprofit (501c4 pending). Michael
Capuano is our rep.
