He does not have a log of previous events, for example, the events of
yesterday?

No, but it is something we've though of. The data is there, but it
only shows the last event in the alerts log. I haven't thought of a
good way to show the history.

Question to the group. If I were to enable the historic alert feature,
would you use it? What would be the best means of display? Initial
thoughts are to have the alert click bring you to a historic view of
that app which would show the date and amount of CPU consumed by the
app for it's alerts. Even more crazy would be to show past X days of
CPU data graphed, along with the alerts(possibly even overlayed on the
graph).

For me, it's only the same few apps which ever trigger alerts, so I don't need more of a history than is provided. The high CPU usages don't correspond to my own activity, though, so I'd love to know what the heck is going on. It will have to be among the mysteries. At least no harm is being done.
