Hello! Since writing last the temperatures have soared here in Phoenix, surpassing the 100 degree mark on several days. That means summertime has arrived and I'm living the good life!

Surviving Phoenix in the summer means two things...water and

wearing shoes (scorpions still freak me out!).

Oly is happy to be my playmate when the hose makes an appearance.

I want to apologize in advance for the numerous "undies" pics.

It's just a way of life around here these days.

Oly's bed is a perfect place to dry off!

I'm such a good boy, mowing isn't even on my Chore Chart!

Even Marlee is getting into the summertime groove!

Hike in the wash...with my Dad, of course.

Pool party with friends :)

...including Olaf!!

Dad has been traveling everywhere from Flagstaff to Spain and Mom's work has been busy too!

You know what that means...a trip to Phoenix for Grandma Jane!

We had a great time playing and teaching Marlee new tricks.

In other news, it was Mother's Day a while back...and this sums up our photo shoot.

I can't help trying to make Marlee laugh!

Speaking of Marlee, she turned 6 months on May 9th. She weighs 19.5lbs and is 26.5" long. That puts her in the 95% for weight and the 64% for height. She is doing a lot of great things like rolling over (albeit begrudgingly...Mom says she has a lot of weight to move so give her a break), sitting unassisted for a while, and eating veggies :) She sure is growing up fast!

Boy does Oly love Marlee, he is really protective of her and super gentle...

even when she pulls his ears!

I guess I have to learn to share my toys, but seriously, this is my desk and she

doesn't even know how to write or color yet!

Well, I better run, I've got to practice writing my name and counting to "20" so I can be ahead of the game this August.

PS We booked our tickets to Montana this summer and will be in Missoula, Bozeman, and Billings. Can't wait to see all of our friends :)
