Well, I am on my sixth week of school and still loving every minute. My teachers are great, my class is small (which is a good fit for me), and I have some really nice kids to play with! We have learned about our senses, our bodies, emergencies, and now we are on to modes of transportation. In addition to all the learning, we get to do fun things too...
Like, silly hair day! I went with red and blue :)
My teacher tells Mom and Dad what we are going to be learning about in the week to come, which gives Mom lots of good ideas to help supplement instruction at home. Check out the activities we did to correspond with learning about senses and the human body!
Edible, smelly, amazing body paint!! Three senses in one...sight, touch, and taste :)
A sensory scavenger hunt...my favorite sense is still taste!
A water vase xylophone!
And a man made out of veggies to learn about body parts!
I have also been working really hard on cutting, shapes, and letters.
Here are a few of my most recent works of art.
Sensory man!
Shape house!
A sweet hat, I cut the white pieces and had help with the star :)
I would like to dedicate the rest of this blog entry to my little sister. She is EVERYWHERE! Crawling, pulling to stand, and cruising on furniture. I love her very much, even if I do talk to her in a "growly" voice when she comes near any of my toys.
Here we are having a picnic in the backyard.
She seems to get stuck a lot...and then cry for help!
She did not get her front teeth before these other two popped through...she looks like a baby vampire.
...and acts like one too!
Marlee turned 10 months, which means another photo shoot with Minnie.
Mom got this picture, which is so cute...
But, this one better reflects her personality!
A big thanks to Grandma Jane for helping out one of the weeks Dad was traveling! We had a lot of fun reading books and playing veterinarian :)
P.S. Is it winter yet?!?!
