Hello! I have been busy since the last time I wrote...my sister turned one, I went to Horse Camp, and my Grandma Jane came to visit.
Let's start with Marlee's birthday. It was perfect, I blew out her candle and opened all her presents. Not to mention, ate her cake, played with my friends in the backyard, and got to stay up really late! Oh, Marlee had a good time too.
I call Marlee "Youngest" but she is getting big. Happy Birthday :)
Playing with her balloons
Leaves make my sister very happy...mainly, she likes eating them :)
This picture sums up my sister's personality, really happy with a dash of naughty!
These pictures were from Marlee's cake smash photo shoot! She is so cute!!
Now, on to something even cooler...Horse Camp! I got to spend a half day brushing, feeding, riding, and even painting horses with my friends from the Mom's Group. It was more fun than I ever imagined.
This is Mama Goat, she was crazy. Seriously, she tried eating the table cloth on the craft table!
I wish I could explain how much I love animals, this is Patches, we became good friends.
This is Bandit, he is only six months old and was rescued by Jordan Stables. When they found him, he did not even know how to walk and was caught up in barbed-wire. He has a much better life now.
I got to ride the big horse, Rare. He may be big, but he was very gentle and I LOVED it!
Sharing some words of wisdom with Bandit.
We even got to paint the horses, how cool is that!?!
Telling Rare good-bye, but hopefully not for long (Mom promised me personal lessons)!
Besides that, I have been going to birthday parties, playing in my clinic, participating in Spirit Week at school, making crafts, and hanging out with Grandma Jane.
Here I am at my friend Aspyn's birthday party. It was cowboy themed, so we did hayrides and roping!
Sports Day during Spirit Week at School. Man, I look good in that headband!
We did "thankful turkeys" at school. In case you can't read the feathers, I am thankful for dogs, Mommy and Daddy, Debbie (one of my teachers), sheep, turkeys, frogs, and stuffed animals.
Mom was quick to point out that Youngest did not make the list!
First surgery in my clinic, Ace has "crinkled handatosis"
Doing some charting and research in my reading nook!
Let me tell you about Grandma Jane's visit. She came down to help my Mom because my Dad had to go to New York this week for business. Before Dad even got on the airplane, Marlee was running a 102 degree fever and Oly was acting sick too. Let's just say, the week was filled with doctor's visits, vet visits, not a lot of sleep, and thanking our lucky stars Grandma Jane made the trip. The good news is Marlee does not have a kidney infection (from her kidney reflux), the bad news is it took the doctors six attempts to put a catheter in (insert Mom wanting to physically harm medical personnel). She had a viral infection of some sort. The good news is, Oly is eating again, the bad news is he may have a bleeding ulcer or something spelled c-a-n-c-e-r (I don't know what that means and they won't tell me). Everyone is hopefully on the mend and my Dad gets home today!
Some sick baby snuggles. Poor Youngest!
Well, I better run, have a terrific Thanksgiving :)
