Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Grants to Open on July 24

Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) sent this bulletin at 06/29/2020 08:14 AM PDT

On Friday, July 24, DEQ will open its 2020 Materials Management grants round for projects that reduce impacts across the full cycle of materials and products. The life cycle of materials and products includes product design, raw material extraction, manufacturing, transport, consumption, use, reuse, repair, recovery through recycling, composting or anaerobic digestion, and disposal. DEQ expects to award up to $600,000 in statewide funding. 

Grant application forms and instructions will be available on the DEQ website starting July 24, and all completed applications will be due Friday, October 2.

There will be an opportunity for the general public to ask questions about the application process during a webinar on Tuesday, August 4, from 1-2 p.m. There will also be a webinar for Oregon's Tribal Governments Tuesday, August 11 from 10-11 a.m. The Zoom webinar links are below and a recording of the webinars will be posted on the DEQ website.
