We are happy to share that W.A.S.T.E. Sustainability Club has been approved to be one of the OSU student groups that can receive donations during Dam Proud Day, an annual day of giving to support various groups on campus and their missions!

W.A.S.T.E. Club puts on three Repair Fairs a year, manages the Grads Give Back Gown Share for grads in need, started and manages the student-run compost in the Valley Library, attends an annual Higher Education Sustainability Conference, and provides outreach and education about waste reduction, on and off of campus, year-round. They’ve even started working with the Coalition's Recycling Block Captain Program, creating a student-specific arm that targets individuals, groups, and Greek organizations! These student volunteers have successfully kept this club’s mission alive with little to no budget, but Dam Proud Day gives community members a way to let them grow and support even more community sustainability projects and initiatives for years to come!
Donations would go toward covering travel costs, supplies for their repair fairs, the club's operating supplies, and their recruitment and event marketing materials! Donations can be accepted until April 29th at Midnight! After that, please contact the club at wastewatc...@oregonstate.edu.
If you would like to donate or know someone interested, please send them to this link: https://www.damproudday.org/campaigns/waste-watchers-sustainability-club
