Recycling flyers

Hi team,

I was reminded of something this morning: 

The new 2-page recycling flyer in .pdf that I showed you on screenshare during last night's WPAT Zoom (the early flyer we used at Open Streets) is not actually the later version on the Coalition's website.

• Both contain correct information
• The early version is more descriptive and longer (2 pages, English only), and includes "empty, clean and dry"
• The newer version is much more condensed (1 page, English and Spanish), and barely explains the addition of aseptics.
• There's even a 3rd version which Kenny mentioned, created by Republic Services (English only, I think).
• I have attached all three versions to this email, so folx can decide which one to use. 
• They're all different file sizes, but all 8.5x11".  
• RS's flyer does not include the QR to the recycling video starring Kenny and Bailey, nor the Coalition's logo (but both are on the other two versions).

Hope this helps explain why the flyers are different than what folx saw during the Zoom last night. 

Everyone in the state is allowed to make their own (accurate) flyers, but there's a portal through which Bailey helped me make the new one (called USCL, or "Uniform Statewide Collection List).

Bailey - welcome back! Thank you for getting these printed and making them available to WPAT.

While you were away, I received detailed feedback about these flyers from an avid local recycler and Coalition volunteer. I thought the suggestions were quite valuable, and would like to talk with you soon about:

A) improving the flyers for us locally for the next print run, and,

B) suggesting any edits you agree with to the Circular Action Alliance folks who are overseeing the RMA lunch.

I will message you and John Deuel privately about this. Given that Kenny Larson is no longer with Republic Services, WPAT's and the County's visions for communicating about the RMA with the community will be especially important.

I had 500 of the attached (ending in v.1) printed and 50 of the version ending in v.2. Either are fine to use. If you’d like hard copies, please let me know. I can print more of them as needed. Jeanette, if you’d prefer a Coalition branded version, I can order another batch with the logo.
