This announcement has been provided by Josh Landis, Municipal Contract Administrator for Republic Services:

A Ribbon-Cutting Celebration will be held for the new RecycleOn Center addition on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

This expansion represents an important step forward in our shared commitment to sustainability, resource recovery, and providing enhanced recycling services to the community. The new addition will increase accessibility, improve the customer experience, and help us better support residents in their recycling and diversion efforts for years to come.

Our home in Philomath, Oregon is located within the traditional homelands of the Mary's River or Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya.  Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.

Attached is a poster with more details about next week's ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of the RecycleOn Center in Corvallis. CORRECTION on my last email about this. The location is NOT in South Corvallis, but will be in the same relative location as Republic's current depot on NE Bellevue Street.
