Hello, Recycling Block Captains and Waste Prevention Action Team Members!

We need just 5 more volunteers to help staff the Recycling/Composting stations at the Sustainability Fair this Thursday, March 12. Can you help?

  • Sustainability Fair (5 to 7 pm) – We need 3 more volunteers for the 4:45 to 5:35 shift, and 2 more from 6:15 to 7:15. You’ll still have time to visit the Fair exhibits and enjoy the delicious food. Please sign up HERE!

  • Town Hall (7 to 9 pm) – If you’re unavailable between 5 and 7 pm but would still like to help with the event, we’re looking for volunteers to serve as Recorders (note takers) at the Town Hall that takes place after the Fair. Please email me right away if you’re willing to be a Recorder.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for your help!

Annette

I live within the traditional homeland of the Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya.  Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya …Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations at either Grand Ronde or Siletz. Today, the Kalapuya live on tribal lands or tribal-ceded lands throughout the region. Many Kalapuya are active members of the sovereign nations of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde or the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Kalapuya culture is alive. To learn more, please check out the online Champinefu Webinar Series, plan a trip to the Chachalu Museum and Cultural Center, and/or make a gift to our Champinefu Fund.
