One of Millison’s more recent video projects was highlighted last fall by OSU, where he is a Senior Instructor in the Department of Horticulture. An article titled “Teaching from the Frontlines: The Global Impact of Viral Storytelling” focused on Millison’s compelling video of the Sahel project, in which he relates how communities in the arid borderlands of the Sahara Desert are transforming seeming wastelands into food-producing landscapes. A clip of the video, which has been viewed more than 15 million times on YouTube, can be seen HERE. In addition to being a highly successful storyteller, Millison is an internationally renowned permaculturist and founder of OSU’s Permaculture Design Program. You can learn more about him and his work at https://AndrewMillison.com. The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition is proud to feature Andrew Millison as this year’s Town Hall keynote speaker. The title of his presentation is “Global Resilience Efforts: Lessons for Corvallis”. Don’t miss it! |
