Next WASO Rehearsal 7th January 2026

Dear Parents and WASO members,

 

Thank you for all your hard work this term and for two wonderful concerts.

It was great to hear such a varied program and see so many young musicians taking part in the ensembles. I very much look forward to seeing how they all progress throughout the year.

 

We are now taking our winter break with our next rehearsal being the 7th of January 2026!

 

 

Next term is a busy one, we have our residential to Avon Tyrrell taking place over the weekend of 23rd - 25th January for those signed up.

 

Residential Meeting Wednesday 21st January - For students attending the residential only!!!
Students to be briefed on the weekend, choose who they will share a room with and the activities groups they will be in.
Venue: The Concert Hall 5:15-6:15
No rehearsals for Introductory Band, Wind Band, WAYSE, WASTO, Concert Band that evening.

 

 

Our spring concerts 2026 will take place:

Weds 18th March 2026 - Thornden Hall WASTO/WAYSE/Wind band/Intro band

Thurs 19th March 2026 - Thornden Hall Concert band/HCYWE

 

 

Please see the rehearsal schedule attached for the remainder of the year.
