Updated - Ensemble Pricing 2026/27

Dear Ensemble Members, Parents, and Carers

We do hope that your child is enjoying being part of an HMS ensemble this year and is looking forward to the summer performances, and beyond into September. 

We are writing to advise, in accordance with our terms and conditions, that as of September 2026 there will be a small increase in the ensemble fees.

From September 2026, the price bands will be:

Single Membership Options:

A	Area pyramid membership Tier 1: £57.50 per term
B	Area pyramid membership Tier 2: £47 per term
C	County pyramid Tier 1: £78 per term
D	County pyramid Tier 2: £57.50 per term

Combined Membership Options:

E	2+ x separate area pyramids: £86.00 per term
F	1 x County pyramid: £104 per term (includes unlimited area ensembles)
G	2 x County pyramid: £114.40 per term (includes unlimited area ensembles)
H	3 x County pyramid: £130 per term (includes unlimited area ensembles)

Tier 1 and 2 ensembles can be seen in the table below. 

Increasing prices is a difficult decision but necessary to continue the breadth and quality of these opportunities. We value the role ensembles play in supporting the development of children and young people and, to recognise this, a considerable proportion of our Arts Council Grant is allocated towards ensembles to ensure the sustainability of this important provision.

We want participation in ensembles to be inclusive for all students so for those experiencing financial hardship we have a Financial Assistance which can offer support with the cost.
