Dear Parents,
There are still issues and dangers during drop-off and collection at WASO rehearsals, please see below from The Henry Beaufort School.
The Henry Beaufort School has been able to view CCTV footage. There is a considerable amount of inconsiderate parking
by parents who have been parking in the horseshoe area and parking on the zebra crossing. These are parents with children who have instruments and attending your activities (WASO).
When looking at the CCTV there are still parking places available therefore, we
would be grateful if you could please remind your attendees to park considerately at all times; some
of the parking and drop off activity was actually quite dangerous and
unnecessary and contributing to the issue.
The Senior Leadership Team have agreed to open the top student social space for parking as a trial until the October Half Term, this is to give time to understand if it alleviates some of the issues being experienced. We will review footage after the break and make a judgement as to whether this will be a permanent adjustment.
Please can WASO parents work with us and modify their drop off and parking practice to make this work through.
