Hey Club Tennis friends and prospects!

Well first off, welcome (and welcome back!) to Club Tennis, we are excited for a great year ahead of us.  Our names our Matt Burkhardt and Kitty Branche, and we're co-Presidents of our club team this year.  We also have members on our exec board that you'll meet at upcoming practices, so feel free to ask any of us questions and just talk about tennis (US Open anyone?!).  Club Tennis is for anyone who has had tennis playing experience, whether you're just getting back into the game, or have been training everyday.  We have two to three practices per week, we do go indoors when winter comes along, and have opportunities for match play both inter-squad around Wash U and also traveling and competing on weekend tournaments.  There are tons of ways you can get involved with club tennis so we hope to see everyone on the courts!   

On that note, let's talk about actually playing tennis (PRACTICES!).  Our practice schedule is attached below (with varsity times so you know when the courts are taken).  Our first practice will be tomorrow, Tuesday Sept. 2nd, from 6:30-8:30pm at the Wash U tennis courts!  Following that, we will courts Thursday from 8-10pm, and Sunday from 1-4pm.  Everyone is welcome to come out and play, and after our first opportunities for match play, everyone will have at least two practice times to play on a weekly basis, based off of playing level.  Practices are NOT mandatory, and are there to be used to have reserved court times and provide balls and drills for y'all.  

So we hope to see everyone who can make it out at our first practice tomorrow! You'll need your racket, water, and a smile :) to get into the "swing" of things for Club Tennis this year!  There will be more info at practices, and more emails on tournaments and the like, so get EXCITED everyone!  Tell your friends about our practices, and see the attached court time schedule below!  Hope to see y'all soon.
