Space Elevator Robotics Competition Workshop

Redmond Library, Meeting Room 1

5 pm - closing

 

Join us on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 5 pm till closing in Meeting Room 1 of the Redmond Library to test out your robots for the Space Elevator competition, check out the satellites, ask questions about the rules, or even just see what the competition is all about if you have yet to decide whether to participate. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

The Space Elevator Robotics Competition is for kids to build robots that simulate what it will be like to launch satellites into space using the space elevator. Held at the Family Science Fest (http://www.isec.org/sec/index.php/family-science-fest) during the Space Elevator conference, the competition will take place on August 25th, 2012 at the Boeing Museum of Flight.
