What is Weatherization?
Weatherization is the installation of home energy
efficiency measures to help reduce energy
bills. Depending on the energy needs of the
home, weatherization may include: insulation
upgrades, heating/cooling equipment maintenance
and appliance replacement.
Eligible participants are provided with:
1) A free “home energy audit” to see how energy
efficient a home is and how much money can be
saved on energy bills through weatherization;
and 2) Installation of recommended free energy
efficiency measures.
