Java Developer

1.RESTful Web Services Java Developer

Sunnyvale, CA
Long Term

Experience in:
eCommerce Software development
Java, REST & Web Services
Core Java Skills/and ability to learn and build Java RESTfulservices with SPRING
Integrating 3rd party solutions in existing architecture
Open Source technologies

2.Backend Javascript Node Js Engineering position

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6 years’ experience building scalable applications.

Master’s degree and ecommerce experience is preferred. Experience

of Javascript backend and Node.js development experience

• Expertise in backend engineering

• Experience working with MongoDB, Redis, Memcached and/or other databases

• Experience with SOA architecture

• Knowledge on management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes.

• Understanding of REST and API design

• 2+ years of experience in automated testing platforms and unit tests • Knowledge of Tools such as Git, npm, confluence, JIRA, New Relic, Splunk

• Knowledge of Node.js Frameworks such as Express.Js or Hapi.Js is a big plus

MicroStrategy Engineer

· Must have exceptional experience on MicroStrategy 10.4 and above in areas of administration, installation, upgrade and troubleshooting.

· Must have Project experience in enabling single sign on authentication and integration with .Net framework portal application.

· Must have Real life project experience in mobile integration

· Must have project experience in integration of Essbase application with Microstrategy

· Good knowledge of IIS and windows administration.

· Building and developing reporting solutions on MicroStrategy BI

· End-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) projects, especially in scorecards, reports, cubes, & dashboards

· Creating and loading cubes, report caches and maintaining distribution services

· Knowledgeable on admin functionalities of MSTR such as User creation, ACL, Movement of objects using Object manager, setting up of Enterprise Manager, security filters, subscriptions

· Hands on experience on Installation and Deployment of MicroStrategy objects from Development to QA and Production environment.

· Development and Support experience on MicroStrategy BI

· Experience in customer-facing roles for requirements gathering and architecting solutions for BI projects

· Trains and mentors less senior team members and business users.

· Good analytical, inter-personal & communication skills, and proactive attitude

· In-depth Knowledge in Data ware housing concepts, databases and advanced SQL.

· Experience in building custom Java/SDK solutions, consume web services, Xquery, jSON, subscriptions/schedules to interact with MicroStrategy reports/report service documents.

· Experienced in integration with Hadoop Ecosystem and search engines like Solr.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

· Experience in MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation ,maintenance, cubes, and Report development

· Very strong SQL skills

· Exposure of any one reporting tools will - MicroStrategy, Business Objects

· Good understanding of SDLC.

· Design layout of reports and determine the best way to present data to end users.

· Experience Building dashboard.

· Experience with query optimization strategies for building reports.
