Smoke filled drum

I have a Samsung washer. I ran a load of clothes and when it finished I opened the door (front load) to find heavy smoke and a burning rubber smell. I took the machine apart and found pieces of metal in the pump clean out. Once the drum was removed I found the washer drum assembly had small chunks out of it. The bearings seem fine but I'll replace those too. Hoping that's the fix. Nit sure what the rubber smell was or if the pump is still working
