Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if I could purchase the bearing and seal kit for my 8 year old Bosch Nexxt WFMC3200UC-01. Everywhere I look seems to say that I would have to purchase the entire drum assembly in order to replace the bearings. Is this true?

Thank you.

Yes you can, it took a bit to match hat number, but it goes with our most popular kit #8140. No you don't have to replace the whole thing. If the tub and such are still in good shape then just do the bearings and seal.

When I try to order from the website it directs me to kit #1871. When I type in the model number (WFMC3200UC-01) into the "add to cart" search  #1871 appears. How do I order kit # 8140. Thank you.

All that matters is putting in your model number. It will always come up that way. I go by the model number. That way we can keep track of new models and such.

For anyone interested, I received the incorrect bearings and seals with my original order, but in a few days I received the correct items once I informed customer service of the error. Thanks for the quick turnaround.

By the way the bearings are 6206Z for the rear (small bearing) and 6208Z for the front (large bearing), the seal is a 47-80-10/12 or Bosch part number 613084.

In my case, the seal started to leak water through to the front bearing initiating rust and causing a jet engine sound during a high speed spin.

Many thanks to this site for all your help.

By doing it myself, I saved over $600.00.

We don't have a kit normally for it. But I do have the correct parts.

I just came across my old post and for anyone who is still interested, those numbers for the bearings 6206Z and 6208Z can be purchased at any bearing supply house. Just bring those numbers into the store, they are common bearings. As for the seal, just do a web search for "Bosch 613084" and a few vendors will pop up. The vendors might call the seal a "circular clip", but don't be mislead. As long as the part number is Bosch 613084, it will be the rubber seal you will need, just look at the picture it will be a black do-nut shaped seal - it is priced around $10. Sorry I took so long to reply, I feel foolish.
