I was looking at your videos and webpage and wondering if you have the
seal and bearings for a Whirlpool Duet WFW9750WW01. I have taken
the back off and it is definately the bearings. Sad thing is that the
machine is only 16 months old, but out of warranty, and I do not want
to puchase the entire tube from Whirlpool. Plus I called for the part
and it is on back order from the factory till the end of November,
can't wait that long to wash clothes. Thanks for the help

This looks like a new model for us. I would like to know if you are
able to see the numbers on the bearings or tell me if your machine is
a he3, he3t, he2 or the he2 plus?

After more researching it looks like it is a he3t and yes we would
have a kit for that.

Can't see the numbers on the bearings, have not torn apart yet. I
wanted to see what I would have to do first. The only thing that I
can find on the machine and the owner's manual is that it say HE.
The whirlpool parts manual only gives a part# for the rear tub
assembly which includes the bearings. The customer service and parts
department said they only come in a single unit. Any suggestions on
where to look for more info about the unit? thanks

Is there any where to find that number?

Some of the mahines will have it on the front by the controls, others
don't. But with looking at the models the cross reference with them
and looking at past records it looks to me that it would be the he3t.
The only other way I can think of to be totally sure would be to pull
the parts and measure the seal and get the inside and outside
diamention.

How much is the seal and bearings for this unit. Can you send me the
dimension of the bearings and I'll tear it down tomorrow and confirm
correct size. What is the shipping time to zip 23139

With shipping it will be ablout $78 for priority or $89 for exspress
mail. That includes both bearings and seal. The best one to measure
would be the larger of the 2 bearing.

ok, i have the unit apart and getting ready to knock out the
bearings. I have removed the seal which looks different than your
video. I noticed that the outter bearing does not have a snap ring,
do I just knock it out or is there some other kind of ring?

Yes the seals we have are a bit different, do to we can not source the
same ones, but whats important is ours are the same id and od size. As
for the snap ring, not sure what to tell you. If there is not one then
I would not worry about it, just be sure to look and make sure that
parts may of it didn't break off and the main part of the ring is
still not there.

ok, I got the bearings out, came out pretty descent, appears that most
of the damage was done to the inner bearing which is the largest one,
but the housing looks fine. There is a littel rust or grime build up
between the 2 bearings housings, should I worry about that? The
micrometer that I had was too small, but I was able to get some #'s
off of the larger bearing. Here is what I got. SKF BB1-0727 B/
+. Do those #'s mean anything to you? If not, I'll have to borrow a
set of mics tomorrow and give you the exact measurements. I could not
get any #'s off of the smaller bearing. Thanks

No those numbers are OEM. Its always good to wipe down and maybe even
sand any rough spots. If youcould measure the bigger bearing that
would be great.
