After successfully installing new bearings and seal purchesed from yellowvan handyman. the new seal squeaks during slow speed spinning. once speed of drum gets faster the squeaking noise can not be heard. Any advice on what would be causing this new seal to squeak?

Marcus,
One of my machines did this after I made the repair and I found out it was actually the front rubber boot that was rubbing and made a squeak noise at low speeds only.

I have double checked that and it does not appear to be rubbing causing the noise. i took the top of the machine off while it was running and the noise sure seams to be coming from the rear of the machine towards where the seal is. was i suppose to lube the seal with something before putting it on? my other question is. the seal that i got was not identical to the one i took out. being from the car repair background that i have i knew that may not be a problem as long as it fit the outer diameter and the shaft fit the inner diameter. how do i know if i got the correct seal?

Marcus,
You would know if it wasn't correct just as you described.  As long as the diameters are correct then it will work just fine.  I have seen cases where the bearings or the seal are not seated 100% and the seal body will rub on a portion of the spider.  In every case I have seen, this is slight and works its way out by clearing away a very small bit of the seal in the process as it is rubber and much softer than the spider.  I can't think of another reason why this would be happening.
Thanks,
Jerrod

I made sure to seat the bearings fully and the seal i seated it fully into the resecesed area for it. I wasn't sure if i should have left it up flush with the tube inside there. would you have lubed the seal before putting it together and if so with what?

I would not lube the seal.  It really doesn't need it.  I would run it for a few loads and see if it goes away.

I have ran about 4 loads through it and it seems to have gotten better. but now it seems to make the squeaking noise now when drum is spinning at faster speeds. Is there any way to check and see if i was sent the right seal for my machine? the model # is WFW9200SQ02.

now with any amount of clothes in the washer it starts vibrating and shaking really bad when the drum spins fast during the spin and drain cycle. the springs are in the correct spots and the 4 shocks appear to be in good working condition. What would i have done to cause it to be out of balance so bad?

Did this problem sort itself out eventually?  As you stated originally, "the new seal squeaks during slow speed spinning. once speed of drum gets faster the squeaking noise can not be heard", I am basically having the exact same issue.  My washer never made rubber on metal squeaking sounds before I installed the new rubber seal that I got from Yellow Van Handyman.  It is not the front rubber bellow rubbing, I have ruled that and the drive belt out as possible causes of the squeaking.  I took the back panel off of the washer and was able to turn the drive pulley slowly in both directions and the rubber on metal squeak is coming from directly behind the pulley, ie, where the new rubber seal is located.  Should the drive shaft that connects to the spider arm have been lubricated with something so that when it inevitably came into contact with the new rubber seal, it wouldn't squeak?
