Hi Jerrod,

I watched your video about replacing the bearings and although it was very informative, I'm still not sure that is the problem I am facing.
I recently purchased a home and with it was a Samsung vrt steam front load washer (I was very excited, cause it was an upgrade from what I had previously) .
The model # is WF448AAW the 1st time I tried to wash a load of clothes it kept pausing, and the screen was reading weight sensor. It was a small load, but after a bit it finished and I was pleased. with my 2nd load it went through the cycles fine until it got to spin. It is vibrating and moving a bit, but not spinning, that was when the code saying the motor is not working properly appeared. I noticed on the lower left side a panel for the drain tube and debris filter. when I unscrewed the debris filter a ton of sand, grit, and even small rock like things were coming out, along with all the water from the cycle not finishing. the drum its self can easily be moved up or down and made me think bearings, but I'm just not sure.....I don't want to give up and buy another washer, can you help?

Angel,
You likely have a broken spider but with that you will want to replace the bearings and seal also.  To get the bearing repair kit, go here:  http://www.yellowvanhandyman.com/washerrepair.aspx

I also looked up a spider for your model and it is here:  http://www.appliancepartspros.com/samsung-assy-flange-shaft-dc97-14421a-ap4452794.html

Good luck with the repair.  It is not all that difficult if you have an extra set of hands and some music!
