Dear Working Group members

Following my email from 14.03. , we have now evaluated the results of our survey among WSSCC members who expressed “climate change” as their interest.

The participation was excellent: over 50% of the people contacted (119) completed the survey. All those who participated expressed an interest in becoming more engaged with and through WSSCC. The survey shed more light on the experience of members and indicated a very wide range of interest and openness to opportunities to build capacity.

A number of people could be identified through the survey who are experts and working on the topic. They often work on the Climate Change issue from different angles, representing not only the broad range of our members, but also the different angles you can address the topic of climate change. Therefore we plan to engage in more in-depth discussions to identify gaps and potential WSSCC engagement around capacity development and knowledge products.

If you are interested to know more about the “experts” and engage them in your work, let me know, and I can connect you to them.

Best greetings and good weekend
