 Spring is here and Colorado has its 1^st Major Doubles Tournament Beach Bash Doubles (BB2x2).  This weekend May 24^th & 25^th are the sand events @ The Island and Saturday June 7^th are the grass divisions @ Wash Park.

Saturday May 24^th:

Men’s & Women’s Sand Open Day 1

(The best of the best players in our region)

• Double elimination, match play all the way through the crossover.  All play @ The Island, 7am-10pm.

Sunday May 25^th:

Dinosaur Doubles Sand @ The Island, Men & Women

• Combined age of you & your partner must be at least 80, the older you are the more points you start with, old school rules, regular scoring, big court, etc. 8am start.

Men’s & Women’s Sand Open Continued

• 7^th Place open division matches start at 12:30pm and continue to the finals at 6pm.
• Open Division FINALS, Men @ 6pm, Women @ 7:00pm.  Cheer on the best of the best on The Island’s Center Court!

 Saturday June 7^th:

GRASS Divisions (Denver's Biggest Doubles Event)

Men’s/Women’s/Coed and NEW this YEAR JUNIORS Divisions @ WASH PARK!

• Players signed up by this Friday May 23^rd are invited to join us
  @ The Island for a FREE Island Lunch & 1 Beer between 11am-3pm.
• The free lunch items available will be items from the new menu.  Crab Cakes, Caesar Salad, New/Improved Island Burger, Caribbean Club and Spicy Black Bean Burger.
• Beer options will be any of our domestic drafts.
• AA/A/BB/B divisions.
• Hot Dogs, Sodas and t-shirts for each team.
• Pool Play for 8-10 games then elimination tourney for the top teams.
• Wash Park only permits 2 volleyball tournaments all year and this is one of them!
• This event sold out last year as we can only fit a limited number of nets into Wash Park. 

Help us kick off the summer with great volleyball action and celebrate Volleyball of the Rockies 26^th and The Island’s 16^th Anniversary!!!

• Spring Grass Coed Challenge: Lowry Field, Saturday June 28^th over 100 coed 6’s teams.  Sunday June 29^th 350+ coed 4’s teams.  Current VOTR grass league teams are free, nonleague teams can sign up, go to www.votr.com for at least 8-10 games, shirt, BBQ and beverages.
• Steamboat Doubles: July 11^th – 13th.  500 teams competing in 18 divisions (including Juniors), over a great weekend in Beautiful Steamboat Springs, CO.  www.SteamboatDoubles.com for all the info and to register.
• Mile High Reverse Coed 2x2: July 19^th, Denver CO.  www.MileHiReverseCoed.com.
