AVP Partners with John Wayne Cancer Foundation to Fight Skin Cancer
|

The AVP has joined forces with the John Wayne Cancer Foundation to educate fans about the dangers of skin cancer. While fun in the sun is what the AVP and beach volleyball are all about, skin cancer is the most common variety of cancer as well as one of the easiest to take preventative measures against.
The newly incorporated AVP Cares foundation will be working with the John Wayne Foundation to sponsor a sunscreen/skin cancer awareness program to educate fans on the dangers of skin cancer and emphasize the importance of wearing sunscreen while outdoors this summer. The AVP will also be extending an opportunity for fans to donate to the JWCF through avp.com.
