Volleyball of the Rockies and the Town of Snowmass are proud to announce the addition of a new mountain tournament in the Colorado Rockies. Due to limited space, Snowmass Doubles will only be able to accommodate approximately 200 teams and all divisions will be capped. Subsequently we have put together a weekend that will reflect what we are calling a “boutique tournament” with some fun “VIP” elements for all participants. Consider it an intimate volleyball escape with 400 of your closest friends!
Snowmass Doubles will offer more play for more players than any other mountain tournament . Every adult participant (Men's/Women's division only, not coed or juniors) will receive a Spalding King of the Beach Volleyball (instead of a t-shirt). How about a free cocktail or appetizer at each of our four player parties* including a Pool Party that will make Vegas look tame?? And to top it off, Misty May will be joining us for the first part of the weekend to run junior’s clinics, a junior’s tournament and to impart some doubles knowledge on the next generation of players. Here is a sample of what to expect:
- Spalding King of the Beach Volleyball for all adult participants

- Eight divisions of Men’s and Women’s pool play on Saturday, everyone advances
- Limited Draw Open Division showcasing the top 16 teams in our region

- Men’s/Women’s 2 day format with all teams advancing….i.e. tons of games (we will advance each division to multiple brackets on Sunday, based on your Saturday performance)
- All lodging is adjacent to the weekend’s nightlife. Park the car and have fun!
* Lodging Perks: Lodge with us and plan on some cool perks like a free appetizer and two cocktails at Venga Venga; a couple cocktails Friday night at the Mountain Dragon Bar; a few beers for our guests on Saturday at the Wildwood Pool Party; and a few more drinks and no cover at the Base Camp Dance Party later that night!
