IMPORTANT : Final updates on WASH ER Progress and Project in Pipeline

[WASH Cluster Sindh]

Dear All WASH Cluster Partners.

 

As you all are aware that Early Recovery 2011 frame work is going to end on September 30th, 2012,

so In reference to below email from UNDP, Secretary Rehab/ DG PDMA asked for final updates on ER Achievements and Unfinished work.

 

In this regards WASH Cluster need information about your organization progress so far, and also updates on targets beneficiaries, activities, and budget information of ER projects started lately or in pipeline. ( i.e. some organization have ECHO funded project which are going to start this month).

 

Please use 3W template for sharing your progress so far and Use the attached template (Project In Pipeline and district focal points.xlsx) for providing information on project in pipeline,

 

Further to this as discussed in last Provincial WASH Cluster coordination meeting in Hyderabad for strengthening district level coordination mechanism after September 30th, we have to nominate District Focal Points, who will take lead on coordination in their respective district, currently we have DFP for 8 district in south sindh but If your organization is welling to volunteer and take lead in these district or other district of sindh where currently your presens is, please send your nomination on the attached template.

 

Please Note the Deadline for providing these information is COB Wednesday, September 5th 2012.

We need to prepare a presentation on WASH cluster update including:
1. Progress against targets (provincial level as well as by districts)
2. Projects started lately or in pipeline (donor, project budget, target beneficiaries, starting date, end date, target areas- district/Taluka/UC, # of villages targeted)
3. District cluster coordination mechanism beyond Sept 2012

Please prepare necessary template for gathering additional information as discussed for point 2 & 3 above.

Hello, Greetings from UNDP/OCHA & PDMA.

As you know that with the advent of September the Early Recovery Framework-2011 will meet its dead line on 30^th September. I was with Secretary Rehab / DG PDMA yesterday and he expressed his desire to call the ICCM to know that what were the Cluster ER Targets, Achievements and Unfinished homework etc especially in providing Shelters to the shelter less communities of the affected districts. Please E-Mail any Item which you consider necessary for the consideration of ICCM Members by close Tuesday 4^th September, 2012. Final agenda will be communicated accordingly. All Cluster Leads to please come prepared with brief presentations as mentioned above.
