Soap Available for Distribution for Agencies active in Wash

[WASH IM Sukkur]

Dear WASH Cluster partners,
WASH Cluster may accept 400,000 soap bars provided as donation by Unilever if our WASH cluster members would like to distribute them as part of their overall WASH response. This means that the agencies which are already implementing other components of WASH and have shared their reports to WASH Cluster, may receive these soap bars to complement their package. Additionally those agencies which are conducting hygiene promotion activities in the flood affected communities and have shared their 3W reports with the WASH cluster may receive these items to compliment their awareness raising/ hand wash sessions.

If your organization has specific distribution plans in areas where there is no or little WASH interventions, please send us your request with required quantity and the detailed distribution plans specifying the name of the village/camp.

Please provide your information in the attached request/distribution plan form latest by COB Monday 3rd September.

As you know that Management & Development Foundation (MDF) has appointed its officer as Focal Point in WASH Cluster in Tando Allahyar and we have already signed an agreement with WHO to establish a Diarrhea Treatment Center (DTC) in DHQ Tando Allahyar and We have also conducted rapid survey in 4 UCs of Tehsil Tando Allahyar.

 

For the distribution of soaps we have filled the form and attached with email.     

 

Anything required please ask without any hestitation.

Total requirement is 34,976 soaps according to WASH Cluster guideline of 4 bars of soap / individual. I have targeted 6 UCs assigned to Save the Children by District Government for Health & Hygiene related interventions.
