Dear all,
few things for the OPS already highlighted by CAP section /GVA.

1. PROJECTS with "Not specified" should not be approved.  Not specified is only for the ERRF! (see screenshot below).
In addition all projects should use of the Enhanced Geographical Fileds (EGF) fields and make sure all organisations use this in addition to the regular location field otherwise projects will not be approved by HC. Yesterday OCHA did a presentation to cluster coordinators  but not all of you participated. If you need support please come to my office and I will explain. This new function is key to: 1) linking high priority areas to projects presented in OPS - for this reason we need each project to have a location (commune level or section of it) and clusters identification of high priority areas by commune (we sent you twice the excel sheet). 2) it will help in mapping gaps when comparing the high priority areas and location of projects - again, it would become an advocacy tool as we clearly will be able to show gaps. Practical comments: if an organization has not done it you should contact them and request to do it otherwise you should not approve the project risking the HC to reject it.

2. Please make sure that all organisations know that selecting a Gender Marker code is mandatory. Again: not specified is only for the ERF! Clusters should not approve any projects that have not selected a location or Gender Marker code.

Come over to my offfice if you have any questions.
Esteban
