School Term Times

Are school term times available via open data?

If so, are they available in an iCal format that can be downloaded and/
or subscribed to?

Additionally, to make this more useful, Are irregular closed days that
apply to all schools in a region - things like teacher training days -
added to a central repository, which could be added to the calendar?

The iCal format could then be accessed via http:// (for downloading)
or webcal:// (for subscribing and keeping up to date).

Finally, with regards to a wider audience and greater usage, is there
a central calendar repository that is available to all schools to
allow them to add school-specific dates, such as sports days, events
etc?

Presumably, as exam board dates are set, these could also be added?

Just a few ideas.

Is that provided by the uk.gov, local.gov, the LEA or an independent
third party though?
