·         The 2014-2015 Optimist Directory will underway soon.  New pictures will be taken Aug. 6th-Sept 3rd.  Ads are due by September 10th.  Update Member Information deadline is Sept. 17th.  Committee & Project info due by Sept. 17th. Please see Dr. Jason Rich and Jim Hayes for more information.
·         The 24th Annual Car Truck & Motorcycle Show was a huge success raising just under $13,000 for Baker Youth Club’s after school programs.  Thank you to all who participated!
·         Jay Tate – Safe Assured Event at the Heart of the Harvest Festival will b held from 11am-5pm on Saturday, September 27th
·         Rotary Challenge – 8th annual Fur Ball Event Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 6-9pm at the Rice Toyota location.

o   Several people were charged for not responding to update their Membership Contact information for the directory.

o   Ann Sweet announced that Oct. 9-11th Mobile Meals at Madison Elementary School will be looking for donations and volunteers to help raise money to feed other nations.
o   Jim Reeve is looking to recruit new boys for cub scouts.  Friday from 5-7pm for boys that are in 1st-5th grade, can come out to Eastlake Skate Center to skate and eat pizza for FREE!
o   Laurie Schotz thanked Trina Hoy for creating the PAC’s (Performing Arts Center) new logo.  They have a new website too and the season starts Saturday, September 27th.  For $100 you can attend 7 shows!

Program:
Tim Delvin, Mason and Lia Geiger presented this morning.  They shared about the amazing journey they took traveling from Mexico to Canada on a bicycle.  It was a strenuous, difficult and challending venture that changed their lives forever.  Over 2700 miles.  Tim rode while Mason and Lia filmed and photographed the excursion.  Check out their blog for more details: http://www.filmforthemaker.com/blog/2014/7/12/days-26-32-butte-through-banff.
