Warring Factions Update

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to shoot an email out to let everyone know that things
are still moving forward with Warring Factions. We just got our
official IMDB page so that is very exciting. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1327836/

The film has gone out to a lot of film festival judges but is still
waiting to find its audience. I have gotten emails inviting me to
come to many universities to show the film but these engagements are
tentative until the premiere which is in the near future inshAllah
(God Willing).

I have released more goodies from the film on Mashouf.TV, including
some raw music recording, so stay tuned there.

I always get the question "When will I be able to get a copy on
DVD?"
Answer: After premiering at a festival appropriate for Warring
Factions, I plan on taking the film on the road. I will probably only
be selling educational licenses of the film until the tour ends. My
goal with this film is to make sure as many people see it as possible
in an appropriate and dignified manner. DVD will definitely play a
big role in that down the line.

I get regular emails asking me "What can I do to help?"
Answer: The Internet. Use the internet in any way you are familiar
with to bring this film to people's attention, we've gone a long way
from word of mouth. For instance, writing a blog, posting the site
and/or trailer to your social networking page (facebook, myspace,
etc), using social bookmarking sites like digg and stumble upon, send
emails to your university professors recommending to use the film in
their classes, etc. The possibilities are endless but the bottom line
is that small films like mine don't move without help.
