Hey Everyone,

I meant to get this out last week but have been on vacation.

Just wanted to remind everyone the Haymarket Bicycles Wednesday ride is starting back up tomorrow night.  Until we get a handle on available light, we will be doing one lap at The Plains and returning to Haymarket.

There are A and B group and everyone is welcome.  Plan on a 5:30 - 5:45 departure.

A couple things that we hope will be slightly different this year:

- designating sprints at both sides of The Plains as well as the finish at 66.  On the way out we have yet to determine a spot.  My opinion is at the top of the last of the rollers before the last run-in to town.  My feeling is the bottom of that long fast section is bad as we don't have good visibility around the last curve and there are some big holes.  We can scout it out tomorrow night.  On the way back to The Plains on 55, the green town sign is an obvious choice.  Of course we need to be cognizant of traffic and safety as first priority....
- which leads into my second point:  let's regroup both directions through The Plains.  Too often last year we blew blindly through stop signs and cut corners.  This does a dis-service to the ride and to the respect we feel we deserve on the road.  Let's regroup at the tracks and make this a place where folks can re-integrate into the group rather than making it a tactical advantage by risking life and limb.
- traffice is usually heaviest up Antioch on the way out.  Let's keep it tight and 2 by 2.

Thanks and hope to see you there.

-Chris
