Dear Loreene,

Hope you've had a great week!

Did you know that 5,000 elderly Australians died this year waiting for appropriate aged-care support in their own homes?

In Senate estimates I quizzed public servants on the shocking case of
Frank and Valma, a 99 year-old couple from Gippsland.

They are on a 12-month waiting list to receive in-home aged care support.

By the time they receive it, Frank and Velma will both be 100.

I raised this couple’s plight on behalf of Darren Chester, Member for Gippsland.

Frank and Valma. All they needed was a bit of home help.

If Frank and Valma were Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, they would get
the home care package prioritised.

Sorry, not good enough Mr Albanese. Don’t leave Frank & Valma behind.

I will update you on the outcome of this story.

LABOR ABANDONS LAW-ABIDING FIREARM OWNERS

Also in Senate Estimates this week, Murray Watt admits that Labor believes the solution to radical Islamic Terrorism is taking guns off of law-abiding firearm owners.

We have fought a long and hard campaign against Labor's unfair gun laws, and the fight isn't over yet.

I will continue to represent the over a million law-abiding firearm owners in Australia and showcase to Labor that their laws aren't working.

Check out this video of my cross-examination of a Labor Minister defending Labor’s outrageous contempt for law-abiding gun owners.

At last count this video has had 5 million views acoss Facebook and Instagram

INFLATION OUT OF CONTROL

The RBA raised interest rates last week to 3.85%, a terrifying verdict on the Labor Government's out of control spending.

The Nationals team in the Senate moved to establish a Senate inquiry to conduct an external and independent audit of government spending.

Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support.

Kind regards,

Senator Hon. Bridget McKenzie

Leader of the Nationals in the Senate

Senator for Victoria
