Hello everyone,

Can i drive AMOLED display using warpboard?

This is the display we intend to use: http://auo.com/?sn=107&lang=en-US&c=13&n=1797

Thank you,
Orkun

The display technology (AMOLED) doesn't matter as much
as the interface type.

The WarpX has two display interfaces:
1. EPDC interface for E-Ink panels, and
2. MIPI display interface

That page doesn't say what interface is used, but
it's likely that it supports MIPI.

Do you have the data sheet for the display? If so, you
can try to match up the interface signals to connector
H3 on the WarpX schematic.

Hi Orkun,

I don't have any data on the AUO version but there are some similar ones such as:

Kingtech PV1501B3CZ0 (goo.gl/KDYmGn)
and
YB-TL014XXXA01 (goo.gl/NbLTsq)

According to the spec of these similar displays the interface is 1-Lane MIPI which is supported by Warp as Eric mentioned. The cable assembly for these displays tend to integrated touch and various power requirements which may differ from the default pinout on Warp, however, it should be possible with an adapter to support this kind of display on Warp.

Here is Warp's pinout that Eric was referring to:

Hi Eric and Aeron,

Thank you for your answers...

The datasheet is attached. There are 20 port to connect. Is it a problem?

My bests,

In a brief review, this seems workable (display supports 1.8V
MIPI interface).
