rickAtee reports that the game ends shortly after it started.

This turns out to be a bug which allowed you to start a new game with
your captain following the 'white' path (instead of the 'red' path of
war or the 'green' path of peace) This results in a one-sided game
which ends almost immediately.

The next release will ensure that you play either red or green.

If you are stuck in this state right now, you can get out of it by:

* selecting "new game" from the slot selection screen
* then click on the 'path' option on the enlistment screen until it
shows either the Red or Green path.
