Hi everyone,
I'm trying to match the particles from Warp and Relion 5 refinements back to the original Dynamo tag numbers. This is helpful for i.e. a VLP dataset where after excluding bad particles and running 3D classification to filter out junk particles, analyzing the number of remaining good particles per VLP.
It seems that 1) after CC filtering particles and excluding particles within a threshold distance in Dynamo, the table gets reversed (no problem), then 2) when Warp exports particles it renumbers everything from 1, and then 3) somewhere along the way, the particles get scrambled for each tomogram in the star file.
I can track the exact particles based on tomogram and xyz coordinates / euler angles between the Dynamo table and the star file from the Warp extracted particles, but I'm wondering if this anyone has already done this or if other roadblocks have been found along the way. Thanks!
Matt
