The winner is.....

SECOND SATURDAY, 9AM - 9PM (although, 9PM is by no means a hard stop on my end).

This was the group's clear winner and also my personal preference, so it worked out for everyone.  Excellent!

Now, the exception... in December, we cannot meet on the second Saturday because we are already hosting a general game day on the 8th, for my birthday.  You're welcome to join us for that (and some of you are already planning to).  So, we will need to find an alternate date.  Based on the fact that we have three birthdays in this house in December and the fact that my husband is currently undergoing some medical treatment, I'm going to go ahead and find a day/time that works best for us and hopefully it will also work for many of you.

I will update you on the December meeting shortly and get details for January's meeting rolling shortly as well.

Great, this definitely works for me!  So it looks like Saturday 12 January 2013, 9:00am to 9:00pm, would be the first "regularly scheduled" "Denver Metro 'War on Cardboard'" game group meeting?  That is very welcome news!

I'm also going to "throw out there" that I will very likely have the whole house to my "Gamer Self" on:

I can't host as many folks as the organizer of this group (realistically only 1 game, 4-8 people), but if we work together we can get some games to the table that otherwise might not get played?  

V - I like your idea that the first "WoC" Game Group meeting might be best served with some shorter, less intense games so folks can trade tables once in awhile, meet new folks, and have some brain cells left over for conversation?

Saturday 26 January 2013  ***WE HOST GAMING HERE THE 4TH SATURDAYS OF EVERY MONTH, SO I'M OUT.  POSSIBLY SEVERAL REGULARS.  JOIN THE DARRRRRRRRRRRK SIDE, SFRR!!!  

...and possibly Saturday 02 February 2013.
