Guelph's Candlelight Vigil
for a Real Deal in Copenhagen

Did you know?
There's a massive weekend of action being planned for the Dec 12th weekend in the middle of the Copenhagen climate talks -- with partners tcktcktck, Avaaz, Greenpeace, Oxfam, WWF, & hundreds of others. Wherever you are in the world, you're invited to participate in a candlelight vigil. Each tiny flame represents people planning to come together in their community for hope and to show solidarity with the citizens of the world whose lives and homes are on the line, asking for fair, ambitious and binding agreement on changes for our climate.
*Guelph's Transition Initiative and local NGOs host a candlelight vigil
in St. George's square.
*Join us for action provoking songs and speakers
*Family friendly event with refreshments
*Bring your bells, drums, noise makers and posters.
*Some candles available for the vigil and/or bring your own light
