Heya Folks,

Here's a sneak peak at our cover treatment. This is NOT the final art (though I like this art, and we may well use it for something, it's not exactly what we are looking for as the WotC main book art -- we're still working on that). There may be other changes before we are done  -- Is the tagline too cheesy? Is the art too big? too small? -- but I like the direction its going and wanted to share it with you.

I *really* like this cover, in its entirety. Bravo.

If I saw this book on the shelf I'd buy it based on the cover alone.

If this is a "mock-up", I can't wait to see the actual cover.

I like the cover and tag line. Though I still like stop sign chick
better. :)

I like the cover. I also like the design of the title.

I'm not sold on the font; it's neither monumental nor googy-sci-fi. It's kind of bland. Plus, the first time I glanced at it, I thought it said, "Beyond Civilization's Fail," which is indeed cheesy. :) Then I realized the letter was used twice, and I figured it out. I would suggest something that looks either exotic and antique, or graffiti-metal-googy. Or maybe tech-accented, almost steampunk-like.

I think the size of the art is pretty good. However, I think I would make it a bit bigger. I think the personal details are what sell an image like that. An apocalypse looks like a desert but feels like a prison; what I would emphasize about that image is the claustrophobia of the mask, the loneliness of the world, the dirtiness and improvised nature of survival. Even if it meant cropping a couple of ruined buildings out of the scene.

I do like this version of the cover.
I do miss the stop sign though :)
The gasmask idea is nice, but a little familiar. Then I remembered that a gasmask featured heavily on the Barbarians of the Aftermath RPG, but didn't form the logo.

I really like the cover but I think the tagline is too long. I personally think that cutting it down to "Post-Apocalyptic Roleplaying After the Fall" or "After the Fall of Man" would be more punchy while saying essentially the same thing. I love the logo and artwork.

Here's an interesting picture that presents a feel of dungeon crawling though I would change view to be looking down into the subway.
