Phone in portrait mode and focus

Hello! I just started playing around with WardenCam today. So far it seems pretty good but I've run into two issues.

I installed the phone oriented vertically and in camera settings I've set rotate image to 90. On my viewer phone the video is oriented correctly. However when I view or download an MP4 from my Google Drive, the video is sideways. Is there a way to fix this or should I just re-orient the phone horizontally?

My second issue is focus. I've placed the camera about 2 feet from a hanging basket with a birds nest in it. The ground below the hanging basket, about 10 feet away, is in focus but the hanging basket itself is blurry. How do I adjust focus? Or why isn't autofocus working?

The camera phone is a Pixel 2 in case it matters.
