Notifications Panel

Is there a way to have the notifications panel clear once a video has been viewed in the app? For instance, if I get a text message notification and view the message (either by clicking on the notification OR going to the message app directly) the notification in the panel clears. Same with a new email notification. However, if I get a notification for the WardenCam app that there is a new motion detected recording, I need to go to the notification panel - EVEN after viewing the recording in the app - and clear the notification manually. 

Using Android 10 with latest version of WardenCam on a Samsung Note 9.
